Yes. Fruit Share is a volunteer group of the Manitoba Association of Home Economists (MAHE).
Through MAHE, Fruit Share is covered by General Liability Insurance and Directors and Officers Liability Insurance.
The general liability extends to all subscribed fruit pickers and covers them from property damage or bodily harm. It does not, however, cover the fruit owner’s property. Fruit owners are covered by their general home insurance.
