On May 22, 2010, Fruit Share got its first call to rescue fruit.  On that drizzly, Victoria Day, we picked a mere three pounds of rhubarb. Perhaps not the huge bounty we had been dreaming about, but enough to bring a smile to the senior with whom we shared that rhubarb. He got to make rhubarb crisp for his wife and we got to launch Fruit Share.

Since that first pick, here’s how Fruit Share has done over the years.

Thanks to all the fruit owners and fruit pickers who made this possible and continue to share 1/3 of the harvest with individuals and charities throughout Winnipeg.

Thanks to all our funders and partners who have supported us along the way.
